LION AID Paintball Challenge

The challenge is on!! Will you pick up a trophy?

From 10am on Thursday the 22nd July, Brad Burton*, the amazing MD of 4Networking has volunteered to dress up as a lion and participate in a paintball “hunt” to raise money and awareness for the plight of the African Lion.

We will be meeting at the Great Chart Golf and Leisure, Great Chart, Ashford, Kent, TN23 3BW from 10am until around 2pm.

Breakfast Meeting

For one time only the 4N Dover group will be holding their meeting here. Come and start your day with a great breakfast, and business networking with likeminded people. To book your place at the breakfast, please click here

Day Event

The day event will consist of paintballing followed by lunch

You will be part of a team alternatively defending and attacking Brad. You will have a couple of hours play and 300 paintballs.

The cost is just £35.00 including lunch although we encourage people to pay more if they can as this all helps the fundraising!

If you complete the paintball challenge and raise a minimum of £70 of sponsorship, you will also be entered into the individual trophy challenge. Sponsorship forms are available here from LION AID.

We will also be inviting Companies to sponsor teams of 4 to enter our team trophy competition. Along with the top individual performer, there will be trophies for the best local group or branch, the best regional group and the most money raised by a local group or branch. (Come on 4N, with Brad leading the way, you need to pick up at least one of these trophies!).  Results of this mega contest will be recorded closely throughout the day.

Sponsors are also invited to put up their Company banners or have a table at the site for the day at a cost of £80. Sponsors can also opt to have their logo on our Sponsor Board instead, at a cost of £30.

Evening Event

LION AID Hog Roast Evening Celebration

We will continue the festivities at The Hoodeners Horse in the company of our genial host, Andy Setterfield.

We will enjoy a a 2-course meal, reminisce over the victories and tragedies of the day and Brad Burton will present the trophies to the victors.

An illuminating talk on the African Lion will be given by Dr. Pieter Kat (one of LION AID’s trustees and a world famous lion conservationist).  Not to be missed!  He is a powerful speaker!

And if all this is not enough, Andy will be launching a not to be missed beer festival during the evening. The beer festival will continue over the next four days at The Hoodeners Horse. Be one of the first to try the delicious ales on offer.

Cost of the evening will be a minimum of £12.50.
